I do freelance web design from time to time, mostly for clients from TAFE's Marketing Project. Marketing Project students, as part of their Diploma of Marketing Management, complete a one year project to develop a marketing plan for a real world client. In recent years, I have designed Flash presentations, cover art for reports, layout for publications, and websites using CGI for client surveys.

This page is graphics heavy.

Starlight Children's Foundation - Evolve Marketing Solutions - 2000

For this project, I created Evolve's slideshow presentation for presentation to Starlight. Using Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash, I created an interactive slideshow with elements that would not have been possible using PowerPoint. The presentation was distributed to the client with the marketing plan.

I also created the cover art for Evolve's report to Starlight using the same artwork as the Flash slideshow. The cover was created using a cropped renaissance painting, and adding the star and red lighting in Photoshop. Note the 'Starlight' on the child's lap. :)

Ronald McDonald House Charities - 2002

I created an online survey for this client, using CGImail in 'McDonald's' colours. The site was linked from the RMHC site (http://www.rmhc.com.au) to the survey hosted at blisspix.net

The Big Issue - 2003

I created an online survey for this client, again using CGImail. The site was hosted at tbi.org.au, the homepage of the Big Issue Australia.

What does this site use?

This site uses good ol' HTML which I code by hand (or in Macromedia Dreamweaver if I am short on time!), CGI forms for the contact me page using CGImail, CSS to format the layout, graphics made in Adobe Photoshop, and the blog is now powered by Movabletype, a CGI and MySQL based Content Management System.

This site has been tested on Internet Explorer for Mac and Windows, Camino for Mac, and the browser emulator.
